Introducing Salon Scale

We’re excited to announce that we’re making a small change here at The Cutting Room . As of Monday, September 15, we will be implementing SalonScale into our services. What is SalonScale? SalonScale is a back bar tool that helps us to weigh, track and accurately charge for hair color. Our pricing will now be a “parts and labor” pricing model, where there will be a charge for the stylist’s labor and an additional charge for the products used on your hair, as the measured to the 10th of a gram on salon scale. Hair color is one of the leading expenses in our salon. Everyone’s hair and end goals are unique and we want to be able to cater our services and prices to that! With SalonScale we can ensure you that you are only ever going to be charged for your time in our chair and color used at your appointment. It allows us to meet our sustainability goals by reducing color waste. SalonScale also makes it easier for us to replicate your color at future appointments. We can track your inspo pics and results.  SalonScale helps us to keep track of your past product costs. This will only impact chemical services such as color, perms and straightening services, not haircuts and styling. We're excited to continue to be able to provide you with the best service possible!
