Hind Haidar began her hairdressing career in the late 1990s in Hollywood, California and then in NYC where she worked in celebrity salons and did freelance editorial hairstyling. She specializes in precision haircutting and razor cutting and natural looking, lived in hair color, gray blending as well as custom hair extensions. and hair replacement systems such as mesh integration, meshless integration and nonsurgical hair grafting. When Hind opened the Cutting Room she knew she wanted to create something different than what she had experienced in her years in the beauty industry.

Her commitment to sustainability and creating a low-toxin environment within her salon is a testament to her dedication to her clients and stylists’ well-being and the well-being of the planet. She wanted to create a space where stylists could focus on growing in their craft and have work-life balance, and where clients could receive a truly customized and affirming experience.

When Hind is not at the salon, you find her hanging out with her 2 sons and her dog, flipping through record bins, browsing antique stores or catching a live music show.
